On March 7 2012, Mayor Bloomberg signed Local Law 11 of 2012. This legislation enshrined the idea that we, the people, can help our neighbors and strengthen our communities through technology, data, and design.

Four years since its signing, NYC has grown a resilient and diverse ecosystem. Our city’s open data law is one of the most country’s most powerful open data laws. Our collective open data practice is seen as one of the largest. The strength our ecosystem grows from the mutually supportive community that gathers together and demystifies problems.

NYC School of Data is a conference that celebrates our open data ecosystem.

Join for NYC’s smartest smart city conference and celebrate the rich ecosystem growing of NYC’s open data law.
